Release date: 10/05/2016The second day of the first event at Tops International Arena saw several riders confirm their form as they repeated their winning performance today.
The CSI2* Big Tour competition, counting for the Longines Rankings, was won by Dutch rider Harrie Smolders. He was the fastest with the 11-year-old gelding Aiyetoro (KWPN, Concorde x Colino). Belgium’s Pieter Devos was in the lead for a long time with Haloubet Hitchcock (BWP, Baloubet du Rouet x Heartbreaker), but at the end he had to settle for third place. Switzerland’s Fabio Crotta took risks to beat Smolder’s time but lacked some speed and finished runner-up.

The five-year-old division was won by Dutch rider Sander Geerink with Galita O. Belgium’s Stephanie Andries took top honours in the seven-year-old competition with Javenia.
