Albert Zoer grew up in the Dutch countryside in Echten, where horses were part of everyday life from the very start. He first sat in the saddle at the age of seven, and what began as a young boy’s passion quickly turned into a remarkable career in show jumping. His early talent was clear when he rode on the Dutch team that won gold at the European Pony Championships, and he continued to progress through junior ranks into the senior international scene.
As his career developed, Albert became one of the Netherlands’ most successful riders. He was part of the Dutch team that won gold at the World Equestrian Games and European Championships, and he recorded memorable victories in major Grand Prix events across Europe. At the 2009 FEI World Cup™ Finals in Las Vegas, Albert finished on the podium, underlining his consistency at the sport’s top level.
Albert also stood out on the Longines Global Champions Tour, winning the 2007 overall Final and achieving strong results in other stages, showing his ability to take on the world’s best on demanding courses.
