Christopher Kläsener began riding at a young age in Germany and has steadily established himself as a dedicated and consistent competitor on the international show jumping circuit. Known for his commitment to developing strong partnerships with his horses, Kläsener has amassed well over a thousand FEI starts, recording numerous placings across international classes.
Over the years he has competed with a variety of talented horses, achieving significant results in both 3*, 4*, and 5* competitions. In 2026, Kläsener delivered one of the standout performances of his career by winning the CSI5* 1.55 m Jump‑Off at H.H. The Father Amir’s Prix in Doha aboard Popeye Vd Bisschop, outpacing some of the world’s highest‑ranked riders in the process.
In addition to his competitive achievements, Kläsener has gained valuable experience working with established professionals in the sport. Between 2017 and 2020 he rode for Marco Kutscher at Stall Kutscher in Bad Essen, Germany, before establishing his own base with partner Justine Tebbel at Hengststation Rene Tebbel in Emsbüren.
Respected for his steady development in the sport, Kläsener continues to compete internationally while nurturing both his competitive string and the next generation of talented horses.
