Daniel Bluman was born in Medellín, Colombia. Inspired by his older cousins, he began riding at just three years old, and his passion for horses quickly became a way of life. As a young rider, Daniel competed in Colombia, Germany, and the USA. In 2007 he moved to Wellington, Florida, to start his professional career, later joined by his cousins Marky and Ilan, forming Bluman Equestrian.
In 2013, Daniel relocated to Belgium to train with Nelson Pessoa and began competing at top international events. Two years later, he and Ilan opened Bluman Equestrian NY at Huntersmoon Farm on Long Island, providing a base for the North American circuit. In 2017, Daniel began representing Israel, helping the country shine on the global equestrian stage.
Daniel has competed at two Olympic Games (London 2012, Rio 2016), three World Equestrian Games (2010, 2014, 2018), and the 2011 Pan-Am Games. He won team gold at the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games in Veracruz, and earned multiple LGCT Grand Prix podiums.
