Biography

Lucy Davis started riding almost as soon as she could walk, taking lessons at age five. Her grandfather, Robert Barron Frieze, works in horse racing, giving her early exposure to the sport. She quickly made a name for herself on the West Coast, winning Grand Prix events at HITS, Del Mar, and Blenheim Horse Shows, and earned international recognition in 2008 at the Young Rider and Junior Championships.

At 17, Lucy helped Team USA win the 2010 Buenos Aires Nations Cup alongside Saer Coulter. She also won the Consolation Class at the 2013 Barcelona Nations Cup Final and took multiple top-three placings in World Cup qualifiers in California and Washington that year.

Her career highlights include a World Team Bronze in 2014 with Barron, winning the 2013 LGCT Lausanne Grand Prix, and becoming the youngest rider ever to win an LGCT Grand Prix in 2013 at age 20. Lucy also balances her riding with studying Architecture at Stanford University, USA.
