Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida is a Portuguese show jumping rider who has become a consistent and successful competitor on the international circuit. He began riding at age seven in Portugal, inspired by a lifelong passion for horses and supported by his family, and has since developed his career across Europe.
Over the years, Rodrigo has recorded thousands of FEI starts and close to 200 international wins, competing successfully across CSI2* to CSI5* events. He has delivered strong performances in Grand Prix and ranking classes.
Based in the Netherlands, Rodrigo runs RGA Sporthorses and combines his competitive career with coaching, horse development, and involvement in Pegasus Equestrian Partners. Known for his work ethic, he continues to build his profile as one of Portugal’s most prominent international riders.
