Janika Sprunger is a Swiss international show jumping rider who grew up immersed in the sport, beginning riding at the age of four into a family of equestrians. Her early success included multiple European Young Rider team gold medals, and she quickly progressed through the ranks to become a prominent figure in international show jumping.
Over her career, Janika has represented Switzerland at major championships, including the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, where she finished 6th with the Swiss team, and the 2018 FEI World Equestrian Games in Tryon. She has also contributed to team medal performances at European Championships.
A long‑time competitor on the international circuit, Janika continues to ride actively with a strong record of FEI appearances and results, including contributions to Swiss team efforts at European and Nations Cup competitions. In recent seasons, she has remained competitive at high‑level international events and European championships.
