Jack Whitaker is a British show jumping rider emerging as one of the most promising talents from one of the sport’s most storied families. Growing up immersed in horses, inspired by his father Michael Whitaker and uncle John Whitaker, both Olympic and international medalists, Jack began riding at a young age and progressed rapidly through pony, junior, and young rider ranks, collecting team and individual medals along the way.
Since stepping fully into senior competition, Jack has become a regular on the international circuit, recording over 2 200 FEI starts and 60+ international wins and competing successfully in CSI5*, World Cup qualifiers, and Longines Global Champions Tour events.
Jack has also represented Great Britain at major youth championships, including a Youth Olympic Games team silver medal, and continues to build his senior résumé with strong placings in top-level Grand Prix and Nations Cup competitions. Known for his horsemanship, competitive mindset, and family legacy, he combines competition with training and horse development from the Whitaker family base in Nottinghamshire.
