An exciting weekend of international sport awaits as Longines Tops International Arena opens its doors once again for the first time this season from 11 - 13 July 2025. Bringing together some of the world’s most decorated champions and rising stars, 47 elite riders and 85 top-class horses are confirmed to compete at this iconic venue in the heart of equestrian Europe. 

A unique addition to the Summer Classic is the introduction of the Baran Global Hunter Classic! Making a debut on European Soil, the sport of Hunters comes together at the epicentre of jumping sport in Europe at Longines Tops International Arena.

With its state-of-the-art facilities at Longines Tops International Arena, pristine grass arenas, and renowned atmosphere, Valkenswaard continues to attract top-level talent and serve as a pillar of the international show jumping calendar.

The host nation, the Netherlands, is fielding an exceptional contingent of athletes. Olympic medallist Maikel van der Vleuten, Longines Global Champions Tour stalwart Harrie Smolders, and Dutch stars Jur Vrieling, Leopold van Asten, and Mathijs van Asten will all be looking to capitalise on home advantage and claim victory in front of a supportive local crowd.

From Germany, a dominant force arrives in Valkenswaard including Christian Ahlmann, Daniel Deusser, and Philipp Weishaupt, each known for their world-class precision and competitive consistency. Joining them are rising German names such as Laura Klaphake and Kendra Claricia Brinkop, who bring exciting horsepower and fresh ambition to the field.

Representing the United States, multiple Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix winner Jessica Springsteen headlines the American team alongside the in-form Natalie Dean, Lillie Keenan, and Vani Khosla. With multiple talented horses between them, the U.S. will be ones to watch throughout the weekend.

Adding to the international flair, and fresh from his win last week in the €1.5 million Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Monaco win Simon Delestre flies the flag for France, bringing his trademark speed and elegance. Australia’s Edwina Tops-Alexander brings both experience and firepower, while Victor Bettendorf of Luxembourg - who has enjoyed a remarkable rise through the international ranks - will aim to leave his mark in Valkenswaard.

Young talents are also well represented, with Ireland’s Max Wachman returning to the Longines Tops International Arena with high hopes, alongside Carlos Hank Guerreiro and Paola Amilibia of Mexico, and Monaco’s Iñigo Lopez de la Osa Franco, all proving that the next generation is ready to challenge the best.


This year’s CSI4* promises to deliver thrilling action across multiple classes, with athletes competing for vital ranking points, significant prize money, and the honour of winning at one of the world’s most respected venues.
